Do you want to spend Fall 2022 working in Yellowstone National Park? Helping Hands part time work (20+ hours per week) is available this fall and there are lots of reasons why working in the national park during fall is an incredible opportunity for you.

We operate 9 lodging facilities, 31 restaurants, and 5 campgrounds inside Yellowstone. You will bond quickly with your co-workers in this short season where it’s all hands on deck to finish the season strong.

Responsibilities:

Helping Hands is a unique position in that your job will be whatever is needed for the day. Training will occur for each position. Each day may be different, so flexibility is the key.


IF ASSIGNED TO ROOM ATTENDANT, RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy and care.
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms.
  • Comply with procedures for chemical use and room cleaning systems.
  • Comply with the Housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Comply with key security and use procedures.
  • Perform other assignments as required.


IF ASSIGNED TO KITCHEN CREW, RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
:

Dishwasher, Pot Washer, Porter:

  • Responsible for cleaning all kitchen service ware and general kitchen area.
  • Handles cleaning agents and ware washing chemicals in this position.

Cafeteria Busser, Hot Runner, Server, Cold Runner:

  • Responsible for prep, set-up, service, clean up, and restocking of food service areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction.

Cafeteria Cashier:

  • Accurately enter all food and beverage items in to the POS system, collect and process forms of payment ensuring guest satisfaction throughout
  • Responsible for collecting accurate payment from the guest, securely handling and balancing a cash bank, processing all forms of payment and accurately depositing all sales.

Buffet Runner, Server:

  • Responsible for prep, set-up, service, clean up and restocking of guest buffets.
  • Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction.

Pantry Baker, Lunch-line, Bulk Prep, Sandwich Person, Front Pantry, A.M. Pantry, P.M. Pantry:

  • Responsible for preparation of bulk items, salad bar items, to order items, etc. as needed for guest and employee service.
  • Buffet Runner and Cold Runner- Ability to be professional in all guest interactions while maintaining a positive demeanor.

Qualifications:

1. Stretching, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing up and down stairs for up to 7-8 hours per shift.
2. Making beds, stripping rooms, cleaning toilets for up to 8 hours per shift.
3. Complete a list of rooms (with and without bath units).
4. The ability to push 50-75 pounds on a frequent basis, moving housekeeping carts and bins
5. Working with required chemicals up to 8 hours a day.
